Fujifilm Quick Snap Waterproof Disposable Camera 35mm ISO 800

i'm a noob on camera world. you have to remember that always. but i wanted to try a simple camera, where i can just snap things and then go. so about half year ago i bought this Fujifilm Waterproof Disposable Camera from shopee. why the waterproof version? that's mainly because i would have an upcoming trip to Labuan Bajo on December 2018, and the plan was including the sea.

this one is a photo of airport floor. i know you must think why would i waste a film on this stupid floor. well, that's because the airport officer ask me to try it first, because i asked for his permission to let this camera go without x-ray scanner. i've done some research that saying x-ray scanner would affect the film, specially for the film with ISO above 800 (cmiiw). for a first timer, i didn't realise that the camera had already taken the pic, since the clicking sound was sooooo soft to hear. so i snap and snap without realising i already waste 2 photos of this stupid floor. fvck.

on my way back to Surabaya from Labuan Bajo, i didn't really care that much whether the xray scanner would affect the film or not. so i passed it into the scanner. hahaha.

this is Padar Island on December.
no rain, which we're all be grateful about. but the wind was quite hard. i didn't reach the top since i had difficulty standing on my feet because of the wind. the track was easy, tbh, since they've built the stairs. but unfortunately, there were no handrail. so when the wind blows (hard), i sat for awhile.

this is Rinca Island.
this was taken behind the kitchen, where the komodos loved to hang around.

this is Mom.

this is when i use the camera underwater.
unfortunately not much that can be seen.

this one was taken on Purwokerto, the last time i was there, from our hotel room at COR hotel.
it was one foggy morning. yeah sometimes we had foggy morning on Purwokerto and that was lovely. the cold feeling when the fog touches my face on my way to morning class or hospital.

fog at White Crater Ciwidey.

was hard to look at the camera since the sun shone soooooo bright to my eyes, as you all can see. this way we got very bright picture from this camera, you can compare to the rest of the picture, where the weather wasn't this bright.

i had to give some effort to take the roll out of the camera. this one was a waterproof one, so the seals were very tight. i had to watch a tutorial on youtube first. but after you made it to take the film out, you cannot use the camera again (of course, this is a disposable camera, dear!). and you practically broke the camera.

i'd like to try other disposable camera, but as you all might know, it's quite pricey (also remember you have to develop the film!) i got this fujifilm on about IDR 250k on shopee. the easiest disposable camera you can get (in indonesia) might be the Fujifilm Quick Snap Disposable Camera ISO 400, you can get it on around IDR 175k. this camera is more popular than other. but from reviews on google, Kodak Fun Saver supposed to be better in quality (and also cheaper). but i'm having difficulty to find this one on shopee.

anyway, in my opinion, analog camera is fun, you don't have to worry about the setting. you just have to snap thing and then hope for the best. hahaha.

so yeah, in the end, this is not a review post of the camera, since i don't think i'm capable to give you that such information. hahahhaha. but at least i can give you examples of what the camera can do. enjoy!
